Americans for Free Markets Names David Ibsen as Executive Director

Americans for Free Markets (AFFM) today announced David Ibsen as the organization’s Executive Director, marking the continued growth of AFFM’s efforts to protect free market principles, push back against government overreach, and defend the prosperity and economic freedom of all Americans.

Ibsen brings more than two decades of experience leading advocacy and policy organizations at the national and international levels. Most recently, he served as Executive Director of the Counter Extremism Project (CEP), where he oversaw initiatives to combat extremist networks, including their misuse of emerging technologies and financial systems. He also spent over 15 years leading United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI), where he built bipartisan coalitions and engaged policymakers, businesses, and the public on the importance of strong financial standards to protect global peace and stability.
